Holla at your momma, yo! Welcome to my corner of the internet and to the blog of one Gwendolyn Anne Bennett; Jedi Knight, Ravenclaw, Pokémon Master. Although I would much prefer it if you call me Gwen. Gwendolyn sounds as if I'm a maiden from the middle ages or something. I've made this blog, not only, to talk to my friends and talk to all of you, of course. If any of you have questions, I suggest for you to go to my ask page, in order to ask it. Of course if your question is more than 500 characters long, I would suggest the submission box. Now let's go to the about me side of things. I'm always somewhat dubious of informing anyone who's out there of myself, but then again it couldn't hurt to try right? What an intelligent idea going against everything that your parents or teachers ever told you over the course of your childhood about not giving out personal information on the internet, right? Whether you're following me or just briefly visiting my page, you've made an excellent decision. Anyone that appreciates writing, or has any sense of music, is definitely worth my time. I hope to someday put my knowledge of everything regarding journalism to good use and spread my greater knowledge in becoming a journalist and not an secondhand assistant for a well-known magazine like Andy from The Devil Wears Prada. New York is truly the city of dreams and everything I hope it would be. It's certainly an upgrade from my previous living place. Lima, Ohio isn't exactly wonderland. Now onto my education, I'm now a freshman at NYU. It was so hard saying goodbye to William McKinley high school. There is where I met some of the most incredibly talented people I now call my friends. The glee club at McKinley, named New Directions, was formed in my Freshman year and since then the club has won four sectionals, three regionals and one nationals trophy. Sure there were drama-filled moments, but during my time with these amazing people. I will never forget a moment of it nor regret anything that happened during those plentiful months with the New Directions.
One day soon, though, I'll invest some of my time in expanding my studies into music. While I can sing, I never really took instruments as a type of musical study that I'd want to look into, and as far as my history with them that opinion still reigns true, but I suppose it wouldn't be all that time-consuming. Besides, I have always wanted to learn the piano. If I wasn't interested in journalism, I probably would have gone into psychology. I love criminology, serial killers, crime scenes and psychological issues. I find psychology fascinating. I don’t love killers in the sense that they’re wonderful - obviously, but I find everything behind it entirely too interesting. My television usually sticks on A&E and the Discovery channel for their crime specials. I’m also a huge sucker for shows like CSI - though it’s went down hill. Criminal Minds is probably the best one out there. So I suppose this is where I let you all in on my likes, dislikes, favourite food, pet peeves, et cetera. I am addicted to coffee, buying old records, paying homage to the worlds greatest people to have existed and I have to watch The Breakfast Club at least once every week. I love romance, true love and the whole shebang - I believe there is a person out there for everybody and the destiny brings us together with our other half. It's said that humans originally had four legs, four arms and two heads but a Greek God feared their power and thought they would one day over take him so the Greek God split them in half - therefore forcing the other halves to wonder the earth in search of one another. I find that myth to be so romantic and I believe the other half of me is still out there and one day I'll find him. Which I already know I have, if we're being honest here.
I am currently in a relationship and I've never been happier. I said once that I much prefer a relationship like that in The Notebook and that I wanted my own Noah Calhoun. Well, I found him and his name is Ryder Lynn.
So that's all I've really gotta say. When it comes down to it, I'm a pretty simple gal. Don't be afraid to come talk to me, making new friends is one of my favorite things to do! Besides eating, and a whole buncha other stuff. Carry on now, go masturbate to all my photos (oh, don't even pretend like you weren't going to anyway). No but seriously anything else? Look around, send me a message, drop something in the submit. Get to know me, it'll be worth your while. But, most importantly, welcome to my life. Enjoy your stay.
